Daytona Beach Summer Project is located right on the “World’s Most Famous Beach”.  It is a destination spot for thousands over the Summer and Spring Break.  It is about an hour’s drive from all the attractions in Orlando. Famous for driving on the beach and a big NASCAR race Daytona Beach is an awesome place to spend a summer.

The project has a tremendous reputation in the community.  We work very closely with local churches, businesses, and hotels.  Jobs are fairly easy for project students to find - many within walking distance.

There are also tremendous outreach opportunities in all three evangelism modes: on the beach, in the community, and at work.  All three are taught and practiced in the course of the summer.

Campus Crusade has a long history in Daytona Beach.  The Summer Project has been active there for over 30 summers, and this will be Earle & Cara Chute's 27th summer leading the project.  The leadership team is composed of six staff.  Earle Chute is the project director.  Becky Duffield is the Associate Project Director for the 5th year in a row, and John Sherard is the project's Operations Director for the 2nd year.  Cara Chute, Jan Sherard, and Rich Duffield will be helping to lead the project as well.  Earle & Cara serve at East Tennessee State University.  John and Jan are at Clemson.  Rich and Becky lead the Central Kentucky team with Campus Crusade.  We'd all love to have you join us this summer in Daytona!

The project is located at the beautiful El Caribe Resort and Conference Center. It is located right on the beach.  It has two swimming pools, ocean view rooms, kitchens and coffee and doughnuts every morning.  A daily linen service is also provided.  It's some of  the best project housing in the country.
